A milestone celebration with a distinctly after-dark energy, Jad’s 40th at MISC. Parramatta was designed to feel bold, sophisticated and effortlessly cool.
The concept centred around rich metallic gold, warm amber tones and sculptural forms. Mirrored plinths, glowing orbs and oversized reflective spheres transformed the interior into a contemporary lounge, layered amongst cognac leather, velvet seating and ambient lighting. Custom FUNK. branding was woven throughout, giving the celebration its own unmistakable identity.
As the evening moved outdoors, the design shifted into full party mode. A dramatic faceted gold DJ installation became the focal point, framed by monumental mirrored portals, architectural lighting and reflective surfaces that came alive after dark. The result was an immersive backdrop for live music, dancing and a night that felt more private club than traditional birthday party.
Every space had its own personality, yet the same visual language carried throughout, from the intimate lounge setting to the high-energy outdoor dance floor.
